About Us
We are an eco-friendly, culturally diverse, family-owned business that fully complements solar sales and installation services. We provide residential, commercial, and non-profit groups a variety of solar projects. We offer our customers various financing options and are fully licensed, fully insured, and NYSERDA certified. We treat all of our solar projects as if we were putting up the solar arrays on our own very own homes. We also offer a wide variety of other services: roofing, solar, Generac generators, and LED lighting.
Janet Glover
Owner
Janet attended Hunter College in New York City and was the Former Deputy Chief Insurance Examiner of the Property and Casualty Division for New York State for 30 years. Her passion for making the Earth a better place to live was a driving factor in the launching of GHES Solar.
Jamie Glover
NABCEP Certified Installer
After attending both Franklin and Marshall and NYU Graduate School with an MBA/Finance, Jamie spent 40 years in the Financial Services sector. He has intricate knowledge of the tax benefits of solar and how to maximize those benefits for our clients. Jamie is also a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional.
Alex Glover
Vice President
Alex has earned his way up from being an installer to Head of Sales to now Vice President. Working in solar for over 12 years, he is skilled in all aspects of the solar profession from sales, system design, permitting, installations, and even accounting. His passion helped the company achieve a 5-star customer rating, including 2014 Best of White Plains Award. Graduated with dual degrees from the University of Maryland. Alex is NABCEP Certified as a PV Installation Professional & Technical Sales Professional.
Frank Della Gala
VP/Installations and Engineering
Frank attended Fordham University and then when on to open a very successful limousine company in his early twenties. He then when on to become a Licensed Master Electrician in 1990 in multiple locations as well as being General Contractor and has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens.
George Mallas
Senior Project Manager
George worked for Verizon as a Field Technician for 29 years and was also the Chief Steward for the Communications Workers of America, Local CWA1103. George is OSHA Certified and has been installing solar for over 6 years.
Peter Mallas
Repairs Manager
After four years’ experience as a solar installer with the company, Peter made a move to Repairs Manager. His background in installation allows him to know the ins and outs of any solar errors better than the best in the industry. His other passion is music and his band, Cold Hands, has a steady and growing following here in the Northeast.
Rodger Moore
Chief Solar Designer
Rodger Moore has over 40 years of experience in the electrical field specializing in the implementation of technologically advanced alternative energy solutions. As President/CEO of Electro Dynamic Services, Inc., his company managed projects for the military, utilities, and the private sector. Currently, Rodger is the President/CEO of 2Sav-Energy, Inc., which provides solar design and construction management services for Green Hybrid Energy Solutions.
